Welcome!  And if you haven't figured it out already, my
name is Jamm'n Jay. I have been a professional radio DJ
for more then 10 years now.  Through the experience, I
have concocted my own idea for a slightly different type
of broadcasting through the miracle of podcasting.  I
launched I-SIS Radio early in 2006, which I actually
first brainstormed several years before, after watching
how women have been somewhat short-changed in the world
of radio broadcasting. "Jamm'n Jay's State of
Independence" is a show featuring all indie and
up-and-coming bands and artists.

I have now launched my NEW Internet Radio Show on
Live 365 with shows that offer an eclectic mix of pop,
rock and R&B from yesterday and today.

"Jam-Packed" features a great mix of music ranging from
modern rock, to new wave, to rhythm & blues, to hip-hop,
to pop/rock, to just about everything!
"80s Flashback" is pretty much what the title suggests;
all music from the 1980's by the artists that  defined
the decade.
"Sensational '70s", again, lives up to its title; all
music from the 1970's, from Disco, to Classic Rock, to
old school R&B...to a little bit of everything 70's.     
"Easy-On-The-Ears" serves up a great blend of soft and
relaxing music that will help put your mind at ease,
without making you doze off!!
"Rock Steady" is just that! Steady driving Rock from ALL
eras...just to ROCK YOUR WORLD!
"The Ladies of I-SIS" is hosted by female DJ's, SuMaru &
Myself, along with our 'sidekick'/ driver/ chef/ go-for
& co-producer, BIG Bad Bob, offer our points of view on
music, movies, TV, health issues...life in general,
while playing some great music..but..NO GOSSIP!!...NO
POLITICS!!...AND...NO BASHING!!

Here's some semi-personal info about your's truly.  I
have a great love and passion for music.  I was exposed
to music at a very early age, my father being a musician
himself in a rock band.  Also, my mother's love of ALL
music, not to mention my love for MTV and Top 40 radio.  
I once dabbled in acting and singing, but soon realized
that my true calling was in radio work.  Walking around
tape-recording my everyday life might have helped.  My
favorite styles of music include rock, rock/pop,
alternative rock, classic rock, new wave, R&B, hip-hop,
classic soul, indie rock and Broadway Show tunes.  I
love the music of everyone from Sting, to The Beatles,
to The Rolling Stones.  I also love Gwen Stefani's solo
work, as well as her work with No Doubt.  Green Day,
Radiohead, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Cure, The Goo Goo
Dolls, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay and Hole are
other big faves of mine.  And, of course, growing up in
the '80s, I love listening to Prince, Cyndi Lauper, U2,
Duran Duran and Madonna...all artists who have
trancended through the decades.  Also, I am a huge
classic rock junkie; Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin,
Aerosmith, Cream, The Who.  And then, there's my love of
soul music and R&B; the Black Eyed Peas, OutKast, Alicia
Keys, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Diana
Ross, Jill Scott, everyone from Motown, Luther Vandross,
James Brown, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Aretha
Franklin, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Patti
LaBelle...basically, I just love MUSIC!!

In my opinion, the eternal King of pop, rock & all
things music....Michael Jackson. Although gone, may his
influence live on.

I have been a die-hard animal lover my whole life, which
is never going to stop.  I believe in being good and
kind to all people, not judging others, having an open
mind, being creative, never being afraid to show your
true colors, being strong and fighting for what one
believes in, being free, having goals and ambitions,
having a sense of humor, and finding beauty in
everything and everyone.

Well....that just about sums it up about my life.  I
will not get too personal, because...well...they call it
"having a personal life" for a reason.  I hope to
inspire others to pursue their dreams...AND NEVER GIVE
UP!!
